diagnosis of children born SGA with no catch-up growth

Current recommendations for a child born SGA include measurements of length, weight, and head circumference every three months for the first year of life and every six months thereafter, with follow-up evaluations at two and four years of age.1 90 percent of children born SGC experienced catch-up growth, but if there is no catch-up growth, growth hormone therapy may be considered.1,2.
